Advertising automation company Rubicon Project has appointed Patrizio Zanatta as sales director, to drive the company’s publisher development efforts in Southern Europe. Based in Milan, Italy, he will be responsible for prospecting and acquiring new publishers in Southern Europe for Rubicon Project as well as growing business from existing publishers in the region. He will report into Jay Stevens, SVP and general manager, international at the Rubicon Project. Zanatta starts at Rubicon Project with immediate effect.
Zanatta will help online publishers in the region use Revv, real time trading platform, in order to safely monetise their digital advertising inventory. He will advise clients on the most effective monetisation strategies, including Real-Time Bidding (RTB) and private marketplaces. Zanatta spent five years at Real Media Group, starting as a technology sales and account manager for Italy and rising to head of technology sales for Europe managing sales managers in five countries.
