AppFlood、中国初となるモバイルDSPとモバイルAd Exchangeをローンチ

2014.4.11

AppFlood has launched a mobile Real-Time Bidding (RTB) platform, the first mobile-focused RTB ad exchange plus Demand-Side Platform (DSP) to be engineered and launched in China.

Chinese companies have deep pockets

A few months ago we blogged about how Chinese advertisers steadily increased their mobile advertising budgets in 2013. In fact, in Q3 Chinese developers on the AppFlood network spent 25% more on global mobile advertising than their U.S. counterparts. Add that to the fact that one in three smartphones shipped globally in 2013 were in China, and it’s clear that the Chinese market cannot be ignored.

AppFlood connects China to the world

Until now there hasn’t been a good solution for connecting these high-budget Chinese companies with the West. Part of the problem is that ad delivery between China and the rest of the world is notoriously slow. AppFlood has solved that problem through a unique cooperation with Amazon Web Services. AWS’s DynamoDB will help us quickly deliver ads to global users.

What is RTB?

Real-time bidding is a system that allows publishers to maximize revenue for every impression and advertisers to connect with their ideal audience. It also means a greater volume of traffic and campaigns available on the AppFlood network. For a longer explanation of how the AppFlood RTB platform works, take a look at this knowledge base article.

Advantages of AppFlood’s RTB platform

Connections to other top RTB platforms in China and abroad such as OpenX and AdsMogo.
Close relationships to local Chinese companies with rapidly increasing global budgets.
Advanced targeting and programmatic buying solutions.
Rich media and video ads.
Anti-malware detection services.
The ability for advertisers to buy or sell RTB traffic from a single dashboard without any technical integrations.
Fast ad delivery from China provided in a unique cooperation with Amazon Web Services.

It’s easy to start using AppFlood RTB

If you are already an AppFlood user, you can get set up on the RTB platform easily. Publishers, download the latest SDK here to take advantage of AppFlood RTB and make sure you are getting the highest bid for each impression.
