TubeMogul、WideOrbit Incと提携し業界初となるテレビとデジタルの動画広告のバイイングプラットフォームを発表へ

2014.12.16

WideOrbit Inc., the leading provider of advertising management software for media companies, is pleased to announce an exclusive partnership with TubeMogul, a leading enterprise software company for digital branding, to deliver an industry-first programmatic solution for brands and agencies to purchase broadcast television and digital video advertising from a single platform.

The joint solution matches advertiser demand from TubeMogul’s platform with broadcaster and network inventory from WideOrbit’s WO Programmatic – TV online marketplace. Over 75% of United States TV stations manage their advertising operations with WideOrbit software, with audiences from major broadcasters including The E.W. Scripps Company and Raycom Media available for purchase at launch via WO Programmatic – TV.

Under the terms of the agreement, WideOrbit will be TubeMogul’s single and exclusive source of local broadcast advertising inventory. Concurrently, TubeMogul will be the exclusive programmatic platform permitted to purchase inventory through WideOrbit’s ad exchange, WO Programmatic – TV, through March 31, 2015.

“TV ads have been purchased with the same slow manual processes since the Mad Men era. Today’s announcement represents a tipping point in the history of television, the moment when advertisers can buy across every screen with software,” said Brett Wilson, co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, TubeMogul. “It was only natural to partner with WideOrbit, the world’s top supplier of programmatic television advertising inventory. WideOrbit’s diverse customer base of digital and traditional media partners adds massive reach and impact to our clientele of brands and agencies.”

“There are many ways buyers want to buy programmatically, but TubeMogul stood out as the perfect partner because of its strict focus on the buy-side and dedication to the medium of video. Its recent investments in television audience buying capabilities, including the integration of Nielsen-verified reporting, made the choice even simpler,” said Eric R. Mathewson, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, WideOrbit. “This partnership will undoubtedly provide great value to stations that employ WO Programmatic – TV to access new revenue opportunities.”

Mathewson continued, “WideOrbit remains a sell-side programmatic solution representing the needs of broadcasters and networks. TubeMogul’s 100% commitment to the demand-side perfectly corresponds with the needs of our sell-side clients.”
