PubMatic, the marketing automation software company for publishers, today announced that in the first half of 2016, its mobile, video and native platform spend grew more than 50 percent year-over-year. The company went on to state that it is cash flow positive, following its third full year of profitability in 2015 on an adjusted EBITDA basis. To capitalize on this momentum, veteran digital media executive Jeff Hirsch has joined the company as Chief Marketing Officer.

To accelerate its global growth, PubMatic is expanding its executive team with the appointment of Jeff Hirsch as the company’s Chief Marketing Officer. Hirsch will leverage his over 30 years of experience to help PubMatic continue to tap the growing programmatic market. Prior to PubMatic, Hirsch held multiple executive roles in the industry including President/CEO of data technology company AudienceScience, President of CPXi, founder and CRO of Fastclick, and most recently CMO at SundaySky.
