AppNexus、マネージメント層を強化・拡大

AppNexus, which offers the industry’s most powerful, open and customizable ad technology platform, today announced a slate of new executive appointments and promotions to round out its world-class management team. In newly created roles, Thomas Butta has joined AppNexus as Chief Marketing Officer and Igor Shindel has been promoted to Chief Information Officer. As CMO and CIO, Butta and Shindel will help AppNexus drive marketing and engineering strategy during a period of rapid global growth for the company.

Additionally, AppNexus elevated to its leadership team Pat McCarthy, promoted to SVP, Product; Brandon Atkinson, promoted to SVP, Global Services; Nithya Das, promoted to General Counsel; and Michelle Dvorkin, promoted to VP, People Operations.

As CMO, Thomas Butta will focus on advancing AppNexus’ global marketing efforts to drive demand from the world’s largest and most innovative buyers and sellers of digital advertising. Butta is an experienced and sought-after thought leader in global branding, having held CMO roles at Red Hat, Parametric Technology Corporation and NICE Systems. Butta, who is author of the popular blog Speed Matters, was most recently founder and CEO of the business-to-business consultancy, 21Weeks.

As CIO, Igor Shindel will oversee technology strategy and product delivery for AppNexus. Prior to joining the company, Igor served for more than a decade as a consultant to a diverse set of high-profile clients, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Zagat, Google, eBay, Brooks Brothers, Art Technology Group and Sesame Workshop. Before starting his consulting practice, Shindel, a brilliant engineer, held positions at Time Inc., WNET/Channel 13 and A&E Television. Prior to his promotion, Shindel served as SVP, Engineering for AppNexus.

Pat McCarthy, SVP, Product, joined AppNexus in 2012 via the acquisition of Fantuition, the startup he co-founded and led as CEO. Before that, he served as a VP at Yahoo! and Director of Business Development for Right Media. Prior to his promotion, McCarthy was VP, Strategy for AppNexus.

Brandon Atkinson, SVP, Global Services, joined AppNexus in 2010 as VP, Client Services, helping clients maximize the benefits of the company’s leading platform. Before that, he served as Solution Director, EMEA, Business Service Automation for Hewlett-Packard.

Nithya Das, General Counsel, joined AppNexus in 2011 from Goodwin Procter LLP where she represented public and private emerging growth companies in industries including advertising, Internet, software and digital media, as well venture capital and private equity investors and investment banks. Prior to her promotion, Das was Associate General Counsel, AppNexus.

Michelle Dvorkin, VP, People Operations, joined AppNexus in January 2013 as Senior Director, People Management. With more than 20 years of experience in the field, Dvorkin was most recently Senior Director, Human Resources at Lot18. Before that, she held human resources roles at Ogilvy & Mather, AOL, Quigo Technologies and Primedia.
