New data shows that mobile contributes $211 billion to the Latin American economy, so it seems as though LatAm-based ad network StartMeApp is well placed to do business.
The company has now added a mobile real-time bidding exchange to its services and will support the local region, as well as global advertisers, agencies, publishers and ad networks.
RTB is a rising market, which Adfonic has seen grow from ten per cent of its business in 2012 to around 65 per cent this year.
The technology allows advertisers to monitor multiple ad networks and compete against other buyers to deliver targeted ads and media to consumers across apps and the web.
Alejandro Campos Carles, co-MD and founder, StartMeApp, said: “StartMeApp is very pleased to present our new Mobile RTB Exchange platform to the global mobile advertising community, providing competitive real-time bidding on mobile content inventory worldwide while offering advertisers first-time-ever direct access on an RTB auction platform to Latin American mobile media buying.”
The company claims to have delivered tens of thousands of campaigns for brands including Coca Cola, Skype, Audi, Adidas and Peugeot, serving 120 countries across fig continents and delivering 30 billion impressions a month.
Meanwhile, publishers include Rovio, Reuters, Sega, WordPress, Flixter and ESPN.
