Xaxis、北アメリカ地域の新たなCEOを任命

2015.12.16

Xaxis, the world’s largest programmatic media and technology platform, announced today the promotion of Matt Sweeney to CEO, North America. Sweeney was previously SVP, client engagement at Xaxis, leading the programmatic sales and account management team in the U.S. Sweeney succeeds Brian Gleason in the role who has been promoted to global chief executive officer of Xaxis.

In his previous role, Sweeney was instrumental in building Xaxis’ direct client business in the U.S. He also played a key role in the launch of Light Reaction, Xaxis’ mobile first performance business.

“I’m truly delighted to announce Matt’s appointment as CEO, North America,” said Brian Gleason, recently named global CEO of Xaxis. “Matt has played a significant role in the rapid growth Xaxis has achieved in the US. His focus on client success and efforts to create true partnerships have driven the growth of the business. I have no doubt that Matt will guide our North America business to new heights.”

Sweeney has over 20 years of success directing management, sales and operations within start-up and established media organizations. His previous positions include SVP, platforms at Crisp Media, and CRO of Geeknet. He also served as the CEO/President at IDG’s Computerworld and InfoWorld where he led the transition from a print and events based company to a digital first, data driven media business.

“I am excited to lead such a committed team of programmatic experts,” said Sweeney. “We will continue to put our proprietary technology, data, and expertise to work for clients. Scale and leverage are vital, but it only provides advantage when talented teams are all pulling in the same direction.”
