Zealot Networks、ビデオプラットフォームのAllScreenを買収

2015.8.19

Zealot Networks, a digital-first media and entertainment company, announced today the acquisition of AllScreen, a premium global video syndication company. AllScreen is backed by Mark Cuban, Y Combinator, Jonathan Kraft and Skip Paul. The purchase is a 100% acquisition, and is a combination of cash and stock.

The purchase provides Zealot Networks an audience extension and aggregation engine to complement its growing list of publishers, distribution and technology capabilities.

Founded in 2010 by the same team that created 140Fire interactive video advertising, AllScreen has reinvented how content is distributed across any device with their proprietary video formats and scalable syndication methods. In its five years, the company has built a marquee list of customers, which includes just about every blue chip media company in the United States and United Kingdom – more than 500 publishers and 70 premium content partners. AllScreen, which averages 250 million monthly video views, is on pace for mid-double digit revenues for 2015 and has been profitable the last 4 years.

“With AllScreen now a part of our distribution and video technology offering, we’re primed to offer brands a complete approach in connecting users with engaging content,” said Danny Zappin, president and CEO of Zealot Networks (pictured top left). “AllScreen’s platform and network represent a big opportunity to capture a larger share of audience in addition to online video revenue.”

The alliance with Zealot Networks allows AllScreen to continue to grow its profitable business by leveraging Zealot Networks’ expertise and access to brands and entrepreneurs. AllScreen’s model of discovering niche audiences across all networks and platforms, in tandem with their video technology, is synergistic with Zealot Networks’ other media/audience and technology platforms.

“Collectively, Danny and his team are steeped in digital media know-how having shaped the business strategies of many companies, so after five years of solid growth, now is the right time for us to join Zealot Networks,” said Jason Wilk, CEO of AllScreen. “We share the vision of Zealot Networks and it was a good cultural fit for us. We’re eager to exponentially grow our business with a like-minded team – being a part of the group will only enhance our offering.”
