StrikeAd、EMEA、APAC地域に向けモバイルメディア分野のベテランを役員として迎え入れたことを発表

2013.11.14

StrikeAd announced today that Gavin Stirrat has joined the company’s London office. Gavin brings with him a wealth of experience in the Mobile industry, having spent the last three and a half years at Millennial Media, where he was responsible for the launch and development of the EMEA business. Gavin looks forward to growing StrikeAd’s presence across the EMEA and APAC regions.

Gavin joins StrikeAd as Senior Vice President and General Manager of International; he will further strengthen StrikeAd’s ability to deliver the most optimized Mobile advertising campaigns to its roster of Self-Serve and Managed Service clientele. “Over the past four years, we have seen Mobile ad spend soar to over 10% of total digital ad spend and it’s been hugely exciting to work at the forefront of that shift. As is already happening online, the shift of spend to programmatic in Mobile is inevitable, which is why I am hugely excited to join the team at StrikeAd, the first Mobile DSP.”

Alex Rahaman, CEO and Founder at StrikeAd, says, “I am delighted Gavin is joining us to run and grow our well-established European and Asian operations. Programmatic trading is the future – and increasingly the present – of Mobile media. His joining demonstrates the belief in this unstoppable trend.”

Prior to joining StrikeAd, Gavin was the Managing Director of EMEA for Millennial Media. Gavin was responsible for the growth and development of both his team and the business; Millennial EMEA grew to over 50 employees working across Sales, Monetization, Operations and Marketing, with offices in London, Paris and Hamburg.

StrikeAd also formally welcomes Dmitry Sverdlik to lead its Kiev development office as Vice President of Engineering. He joins from Innovecs to whom he sold his development company and served as CTO managing over 200 engineers. “Dmitry is an excellent technology lead and entrepreneur,” Rahaman says. “His experience of high velocity trading and managing complex engineering structures are key to our further advances in the Mobile DSP space”.

Finally, Will Margiloff is the newest member of StrikeAd’s Advisory Board; he is the CEO of Ignition One and oversees the overall strategic direction of the 325 person global organization that manages and tracks over $1 Billion media annually. Will brings a wealth of industry and corporate experience, prior to his July 2013 MBO, has raised over $50,000,000 and had two successful exits in excess of $400,000,000. Rahaman is “delighted to have him advise us as we scale.”
