Nexage, the leading premium marketplace in mobile advertising, today announced the results of a new Mobile Insights report, which reveals that app developers on the Nexage Marketplace are significantly out-performing the market, growing revenues 165 percent in 2014.
This rapid growth in revenue is due to four key drivers:
Device ID: In addition to the consistent interest in device ID for campaign management and targeting, ID-enabled inventory is increasingly critical to media buyers building linking and cross-channel targeting/retargeting solutions; ID-enabled inventory is commanding a 67 percent CPM premium
Location: Developers are increasingly providing lat/long-enabled impressions to support local and hyperlocal campaigns; bid density (a measure of auction competition) is 131 percent higher for these impressions
High-impact ad formats: Developers have expanded their rich media and video inventory, improving CPM and yield performance and delivering a far better user experience; rich media-enabled impressions grew 346 percent and video-enabled impressions grew 516 percent
Brand engagement: Brands are increasingly comfortable advertising on well-lit, brand-safe app inventory sold on the Nexage Marketplace.
These value drivers have real staying power, changing the game and fortune of app developers. To take a deeper dive into the analysis, download the Nexage Mobile Insights report at http://bit.ly/NexageInsights.
